A huge congratulations to our North Essex Expo stand competition winners!
We had free stands to offer to businesses based in Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Tendring and Uttlesford, and we are delighted to introduce the businesses who won and share a little more about what they do.

In a world where LinkedIn connections, virtual meetings and online networking have become part of everyday professional life, it’s easy to forget the value of meeting people face to face. While digital platforms make it easier than ever to connect with others, they can’t fully replace the trust, authenticity and lasting relationships that are built through in-person conversations.

Whether you have just attended a local business networking session or one of our own NEEB events, we have collated a list of straightforward steps to help you make the most of the connections formed.

We are offering 20 local businesses the opportunity to win a free exhibition stand at the North Essex Expo 2026

Now entering its second year, NEEB Link continues to build on the strong foundations established last year, with an even greater focus on helping businesses across North Essex thrive, particularly those based in rural communities and harder-to-reach areas.

North Essex is home to a dynamic and diverse business community, shaped by entrepreneurs who are driving innovation and strengthening local supply chains. From early-stage start-ups to established, growing enterprises, businesses across the area are contributing to productivity, skills development, and sustainable economic growth.

2025 was a year of momentum, collaboration, and practical support for businesses across North Essex, with initiatives from the North Essex Economic Board (NEEB) playing a central role in building a stronger local business community.

NEEB Link has successfully delivered a practical and inspiring business start-up workshop to inmates at HMP Chelmsford who are due for imminent release, supporting rehabilitation through enterprise and self-employment.
