Developed and delivered by a team of award-winning Business Coaches, this programme provides businesses across North Essex with learning opportunities, tailored to suit the needs of individuals, as well as access expert knowledge. The programme itself is organised so that attendees can create a pick ‘n’ mix of activities to support their individual growth goals.

Open to businesses based in Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, and Tendring, Blueprint for Business offers a wide array of resources to support participants in their growth journey. The programme features a series of in-person and virtual workshops, scheduled from May 2024 to February 2025.

The in-person workshops are being held at high-quality venues, and will run for two hours, giving you the opportunity to learn, whilst still managing your day-to-day operations. Workshops will cover various themes such as Marketing, Business Growth & HR Planning, Sales, and Innovation & New Products Services.

Spanning two hours, the online webinars will delve into topics like effective leadership, women in business, cyber security, optimising LinkedIn and sales navigator as well as a festive networking session where all participants can come together as an entrepreneurial ecosystem to discuss strategies and potential collaborations.

On top of this, participants will be able to access up to 7 hours of 1 on 1 business support from coaches, receiving personalised guidance and support to help with business growth.

Blueprint for Business is open to businesses of all stages, from start-ups to established enterprises. Participants must be registered or based in Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon or Tendring. The programme is open to businesses of all types, including Sole Traders, Limited companies, and Community Interest Companies (CIC).

This programme is a collaborative effort between the North Essex Economic Board, Let’s Do Business Group, and the Consortium. The programme is funded entirely by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, meaning businesses and entrepreneurs can access the support completely free of charge.
