How NEEB Link Helped Marketing Coach Marty Englander Build Valuable Business Connections

Webwise Edge.com

For Marty Englander, helping businesses grow online is not about chasing trends or relying on complicated marketing tactics. Instead, his focus is on building simple, repeatable systems that consistently generate leads and long-term growth.

Based in Heybridge near Maldon, Marty is a marketing coach with more than ten years of experience across digital marketing, affiliate marketing, website development, email marketing, advertising, and organic content creation. Through his coaching business martyenglander.com, he works closely with entrepreneurs and business owners to help them create sustainable marketing systems that will provide a consistent stream of leads and sales.

Marty’s journey into marketing started from the ground up. Completely self-taught, he began by freelancing on platforms such as Fiverr and PeoplePerHour, offering digital services including website design and HTML email signatures. One of his online programmes quickly became one of the top-performing listings on the platform, competing against tens of thousands of other freelancers.

Over the years, Marty used his experience and knowledge to develop a programme that he calls the “four systems”. A formula that brings together funnels, ads, email marketing, and organic content to enable businesses to succeed online.

“I’ve applied these same four systems over and over in different industries and seen results repeatedly,” Marty explains. “Now I coach people through building those systems properly for themselves.”

Today, Marty works directly with clients through a structured 15-week coaching programme that combines weekly one-to-one sessions, strategic guidance, practical marketing training, and ongoing support. His goal is not simply to deliver marketing services, but to help business owners understand the systems behind successful lead generation and customer growth.

Discovering NEEB Link

To widen his business network Marty participated in the NEEB Link networking events across Essex.

Launched in 2025, NEEB Link was created to help businesses across North Essex easily access the advice, support, and opportunities available to them. The programme was designed to simplify the often-confusing business support landscape by connecting entrepreneurs and business owners with the right people, resources, and guidance at the right time. Alongside one-to-one support, NEEB Link has hosted a series of events focused on networking, learning, wellbeing, sustainability, and business growth.

Marty attended a variety of these NEEB Link events, focusing on topics that closely aligned with his work as a coach and digital marketer.

One event that stood out to him was the Sustainable Success event at Three Rivers Country Club. The session delivered by Climbing Trees explored sustainable business practices, environmental responsibility, and how businesses can become more conscious of their long-term impact.

“It was really interesting,” Marty says. “A lot of it was about businesses being more consciously aware of how their resources impact the environment.”

He also attended “10 Useful AI Tools You Didn’t Know Existed” at Maldon & Tiptree Football Club, presented by David Bell. Given Marty’s background in digital marketing and online systems, the topic of AI tools and automation naturally connected with his professional interests.

Another memorable event focused on workplace wellbeing and stress management, hosted by George Anthanasiou at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Colchester.

“The speaker was really, really good,” Marty recalls. “Very informative and very engaging. The session covered breathing exercises, workplace stress, and maintaining a healthier mindset, essentially how to stay kind to yourself, which was really interesting”.

Importantly, NEEB Link events have also generated genuine business opportunities.

“At one of the events, I actually signed up a client,” Marty says. “I wasn’t even expecting to.”

For Marty, that reflects the real value of networking: building authentic relationships first, rather than focusing purely on sales.

As someone whose business is largely built online, he believes face-to-face networking still plays a hugely important role in creating trust, exchanging ideas, and connecting with proactive business owners.

It’s about being around people who are trying to improve,” he says. “You learn from conversations you wouldn’t otherwise have.”
