Spencer has attended multiple NEEB Link Networking events, including sessions at Bardfield Vineyard and also in Colchester, where a former Arsenal FC physiotherapist delivered a guest
talk about teamwork. He first became aware of NEEB Link through connections with the council and LinkedIn.
“The locations chosen for the networking events were excellent. Supporting and showcasing local rural businesses really added to the experience.”
Spencer also valued the quality and relevance of the events’ content, noting that all speakers offered transferable insights that resonated beyond their immediate industries.
“Even though a speaker from Arsenal FC wasn’t from a local business background, the lessons and business skills he shared were incredibly relevant and inspiring.”

“It’s still early days, but I’ve already made contacts I’m staying in touch with and it’s great to see both familiar faces and new people at each event.”
